I am a big fan of NGK TR-55 copper plugs. This is my 4th LS motor and I have always used them. You should remove the plugs prior removing the manifolds and installing the LT's as many folk have accidently cracked the plugs and had issues after. If you are removing them why not go with a good copper plug and the cost less than $20.00. Dont expect hp improvement with the plugs but I have always found the NGk's to help with a smooth idle.

My shop highly recommended to use GM gaskets instead of the gaskets that came with the headers. They also used the original bolts which are much stronger. Also, they installed new plugs and MSD wires. Can't remember which plugs.

+1 on using the original bolts. The ones that come with the headers are shiny but are crap.

I just installed my Kooks LT headers and High flow cats this past weekend. I reused the stock manifold gaskets and bolts as well. Much better that what was sent with the Kooks kit. It is quite a little job. Get those O2 sensors out while the exhaust is still warm.
