Victory Red or Black?

I know the safer choice is black, you can do more with a black car. But however i think Red shows off the lines of this car a bit more.

If i get a victory red camaro, I will stick with the Midnight Silver RS rims. If i go for the Black i will upgrade to the Polished Rims.

I think the light colors look great with the midnight silver, while the darker colors look great with polished.

Guys help me out with this one, I would be doing my own custom stripes and Exhaust for the first year!

I say black because yes, you can do more with the color, but VR seems too bland. The red makes the car stand out, but you want the car AND the color to stand out.

I was in the same conundrum, but I've had a black car in the past, and it really is a PITA to keep clean. And, any ding or scrape is magnified on a black car. I can't tell you the pain I felt when I'd walk up to my car and see a new scratch.

That being said, black is sex.

Choosing YOUR Camaro is like choosing YOUR wife. It's a matter of taste. But it's something you will have to live with. Both the red or black would be great choices. I know for me..I never get tired of seeing my current car that is black with chrome wheels all shined up and ready to cruise. My Camaro choice is Black with 20" polished wheels that I WILL get chromed and Satin black stripes(ie. Knight Rider). Stealth Camaro!!

I ordered Victory Red w/ black stripes RS pkg. I plan to powder coat the rims black to match the stripes, matte or shiney.

red with black stripes is what I would get... if I liked red. Parents had black cars when I was younger and keeping them clean is a BEE-YOTCH!

My Father's '69Z is red w/ black stripes. That's pretty hot! I'm more a look-at-me guy so I'm going w/ IOM w/ black.

Blick with black rims and red rally stripes. The only Camaro I've seen in person was a black LT/RS. She was looking SHARP!!! It has polished rims and no stripe package.

If I had to pick red or black I would go with black. Yes it can be at times to keep it clean, but I think the BLACK Camaro we have seen in photos looked so much meaner than the LS7 Red Camaro.

I would agree that it depends on your preference. They are both great colors. I ordered Victory Red, black interior, RS package with polished rims. That's me. Black can sometimes be a challenge to keep clean, but maybe not if you keep it in the garage. Good luck with your choice.

You can't go wrong with either color. If it will be a daily driver I'd go with red, if not I'd choose black. For me my current camaro is red so I want something different this time, otherwise red would be high on my list as well as black.

I’m ordering black with the 20’ polish upgrade I think this combo will look sick… I am also doing the gray/black interior and the silver interior accent package I think this combo will break up the black just enough and complement the polished wheels. I swore I would not get black after selling my trans am but after seeing it w/ polished wheels its just sexy… and yes I also will be doing stripes on my own… good luck!

Also we all know the labor it takes to keep a car clean much less a black car but who here really will not be washing their car over a period of weeks just because of the color? I can assure you regardless of color you will want your baby to shine!

Nuff said sexy!

I've never had a Camaro that wasn't red. My 76 was two tone. Red body with a black hood and top from the factory. That was my favorite color combo of all the Camaros I have owned. This is an early pic before the polished wheels and new tires.

Get what makes you happy. Do you have a garage? It get's hot there but nothing like down here near the southern border. Black cars have almost killed me before (getting in and it's like 400 degrees when sitting in mall parking lot for hours on end).

It's like gahhhh..

I have a vic red S10 Blazer and the paint has held up well and still looks good. (biased).

My first car and first Camaro was a red with black stripes 68. I ordered a Victory red and plan on having the stripes painted on because I do not care for the short ones.
What year was that shot of your Camaro taken ?
