Air/Fuel Ratio with Whipple SC
Just wondering what Air/Fuel Ratios others see on their dyno sheets after Whipple is installed.
2010 Camaro, LS3 with 3 7/8" pulley and LS9 cam, ARH 2 7/8 long tubes, CAI intake. Looking at my dyno sheet it looks to be mid 11:1 to upper 11:1....never reached 12:1.... I have had guys telling me that it should be 12:1 or better???? ![]() I know that these should/would vary depending on lots of factors...but would like to see the ranges here from other Whipple guys/gals

The higher you go the leaner it is. I've always heard 11 is optimal for forced induction. Particularly on a stock block.

My sheet...
Hard to read, but seems to be mid 11:1 or a bit higher?

Mine was set in the mid 11 range from Ted. I wanted it on the conservative side until I strengthen the motor

Yours looks similar to mine. It is also worth noting that if you have cats and are getting your wideband o2 reading at the tailpipe it is going to read leaner than what it actually is, the reason is the cats burn off some of the unburnt fuel. So if thats you guys graph`s readings are at the tailpipe and you have cats you are definetly in the safe range.

yours is safe. If you had cats and that a/f reading was after cats you will actually be super safe and leaving a little on the table potentially, but I think you are right on the money since you are getting an accurate a/f reading.
