Skip shift eliminator available at GMPARTSHOUSE

Decide for yourself what gear you want to be in! Dump that annoying first-to-fourth "skip-shift" GM incorporates into the 6-speed Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, GTO, GXP and Dodge Challenger's with SLP's Skip-Shift Eliminator. This PLUG IN piece requires no additional modifications to your vehicle. With it in place, you take complete control over gear selection. Isn't that why you got a 6-speed? Plug in installation. Shipped complete including easy installation instructions.

Special price 23.95

Hi Patrick,

What does this skip shifter does exactly? I have auto trans, and the problem that kills me, when you drive the car say on the 3rd gear, then you decide to accelrate more it moves to the 2nd, then to the 1st !!

Delaying the take off of the car, would this part help?

This guy would not help you buddy. This is for the manual trans which has a lockout to stop you from shifting into second and makes you go to fourth in certain senarios

Hello everyone
We sell alot of the SLP SkipShift eliminators and quite often there is a little error done when installing. The directions with the kit are generic as these will fit just about all GM's with this feature and hence this leads to some installation problems. The good news is that if it is missinstalled all that will happen is you will lose reverse as it will be locked out, but it will not do any damage. The reverse lockout and the skip shift solenoids actually have the same plug into them so it is an easy mistake to make. So I have come up with this diagram to show where exactly this is to be installed. Please see below

I am also attaching my complete PDF for a more detailed view
