Can't say I didn't see something like this happening. Just glad it happened after the Camaro was a go. This is certainly a wake-up call to GM's current financial crisis, as well as that of the US. Best of luck to everyone.

On a positive note....may the value of our current hi-po factory cars will be going up sooner then expected. 15 years instead of 30

Exactly, until the cash situation improves anyway. So the HPVO stimulus package is this, get you and all your family and friends to go buy a nice new GM car or truck. And even people that are more like acquaintances, and then round up just of few more of those, "I remember her from that thing after work a few weeks ago but can't remember her name" people and just go buy a very nice GM product.

Sorry had to plug.

I drive my dads from time to time, but that's only because my Saabs A/C is on the fritz at the moment and it's kinda dangerous to drive during wintertime then. And holy hell what a boring car. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather drive it then a Ford Focus, but the Prius is just so... Let me put it this way, my dad borrowed my Saab for a bit wheile his Prius was getting serviced and he put it like this "You really drive the Saab, with the Prius you're just sorta along for the ride".

I have the distinct feeling my dad might find excuses to borrow my SS once I have it, lol.

... except for the silverado thing

silverado SS would be stupid, and at that, was stupid.

Im sure GM will come through and start developing V and SS models again. They have to.

Yes, this is true. Hold on to your new 2010 camaro guys and girls. This car will be remembered as a car produced during a troubled GM and troubled economy.

I will never get rid of mine unless someone is willing to pay more that what I payed for it.

It's funny too because most V8's today get better mileage than most of the so called econoboxes of 15 years ago...

Well when he was campainging our beloved new president said he would like to see gas prices in the $8 a gallon range to curb purchase of gas guzzlers....

i cried a little.

this doesn't bode well for the z/28.......unless the z/28 will be the hybrid version.....

i wonder what this does the GMPP?
