Door Panel Part Numbers

Can anyone verify that these part numbers are the parts I am looking for from GM Parts Direct?

20955311 Passenger side front side door trim panel.

20955325 Driver side front side door trim panel.

I am looking to swap out my Cloth door panels on my 1LT Camaro for the Plastic panels with the ABL light tubes on them that would be on a 2LT. My current interior is black cloth. So is the panel supposed to be Nuetral or Silver?

Thanks in advance.

The panels do not come with the parts needed to install the lighting. The lighting tube and clips are not available directly from GM - the light is though. The only way to get them is to make your own or buy a complete door panel (not the insert) from GM.

Or you can ask 2SS who happens to have light tubes and he will sell you some as well has he knows what to use for the clips.

If you could get me some that would be awesome! I have tape holding mine in place right now! It's was just a temp fix until I could find what you were talking about.

So what is the best way to go then If i have cloth panels. Why would GM offer the Panel w/light and panel without light if doesnt come with the parts needed?

The panel with LED is only an $60 difference. It seems like its a less hassle situation if the lighting comes with it on it, then having to go and order the light tube, and LED. No?

If there is only a $60 between the 2 then your right, but new door panels:

GM PART # 20955311
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00

List Price: $418.10
Price: $243.09
You Save: $175.01 (42%)

And that is one, the other way is for the door and dash parts and its $360 or so.

But any way you think is best, so you know you do not have the power working in you door for the ABL all you do is cut the 2 wires that are there with the connecter and t-tap them to your yellow and black wires on the window switch then it will work right.

I think the cheapest route is to find someone that is looking to get rid of their panels and get um from them. But I havent found any on Ebay or on the boards here.

This pretty much leaves me to purchasing the two of them from GM Parts Direct. As long as the panels include the lighting, and I can t-tap it to the Window light I am content with that.

As for the dash that will be another project in itself. And I am most likely going to be purchasing the 3 way harness and light pipe from you eventually.

OK I see the conversion kit you are talking about for 360 offered by http://www.gmpartshouseusa.com/partl...egoryID=161270. Have you worked with people that purchased these kits and did the ABL addition?

Does the light reflect off of these fine? If they do, in that case are these the parts I am looking for?

3 Blue LEDs for the Dash
2 Blue LEDs for the doors (1 for each door)
Light pipe - 2 pieces for the dash, 2 pieces for doors (1 for each door)
3 way harness (Draw power from Gauge power source to provide power to dash LED's)

Then I would T-Tap each door LED into the window light source.
