Got mine finally done last night. Night pic to follow.

I don't like the plate being loose. I have tried 3M tape and its not sticking. What else could I use? I'm thinking silicone adhesive or something.

Maybe the velcro that has the sticky tape on the back of it at least you could remove it with no damage

I Have A 2011 SS/RS Verb. I Hooked The Wires In The Drivers Kick Wall Area To The Yellow Wire(ABL) Run Over To The Console Area Conected The Ground Lug. Then tied In To The Footwell Lights Then Tee Both Ground And Postive Wires Into The Cupholder Lights. They Work When The Doors Open And Come One With The ABL At Night Too. Works Fine! The 2O11 Cars Do Not Have The Purple wire Shown In Picks Of The Early Model Cars. Nice Mod!!

The Traction control switch is a good spot for the yellow/black IP lighting. If you want the feature lighting, you'll want to go under the passenger kick panel, and tap the purple wire there.

What does the purple wire go to? Is it available in the 1LT??
