2002 Z28 Camaro hardtop / SS clone w/ Houndstooth Interior and low miles
Hey all, I'm a new camaro5 member but I've been around this scene for a while. I used to post a lot on ls1.com, ls2.com, and ls1tech.com, but I've decided to sign up here as well.
I've got a 4th gen camaro here for sale in GREAT condition with Low miles and an extremely rare HARDTOP. Other cool goodies too, so have a look.
Please feel free to call/text/email/PM me for more info.
It pains me to have to put this car up for sale, as it's been nothing but good to me, but it's time to move on. Just purchased a new car so this one needs to find a new home.
I will miss it, but it's been a great 8 years with it in my possession. If you enjoy it even half as much as I did, you will be very, very happy.
Car is located in Foster City, CA (Northern California, 94404)
It has 59,000 miles and is an automatic.
I am the first owner and have the title in hand.
Never been in any wrecks.
Paint is Light Pewter Metallic.
The car is an extremely rare HARDTOP.
Oil changed every 3000 miles and always used Mobil 1. I have the receipt for EVERYTHING EVER DONE to this car in the glove box, including trivial things such as oil changes, to the installed mods, all done by Speed Inc. in Schaumburg, IL.
*Weird but cool/fun fact: This car is NOT a B4C (police package) car, but it comes up as one whenever it's VIN is ran at a GM Dealer. Weird!
Now onto the more detailed stuff...
-The car is a 2002 Z28 Hardtop but with all the SS appearance stuff. The hood is OEM, but the spoiler isn't. Both fit very good but frankly neither are *perfect.* However I'm a bit of a stickler, and they're so close that even I said "eh, good enough."
-Ebony (black) interior with Year One Houndstooth seat covers.
-Powdercoated 18 x 9.5" LS2 C6 wheels
-Manta Stripe on SS hood
-Removed Grille, added CAMARO decals to front and back lettering
The car is mostly stock, save for some of the popular bolt ons.
-Hooker Long Tube Headers/Off Road Y Pipe mated to a Magnaflow catback. Sounds very nice, especially when you get on it!*
-SLP High Flow Airbox
-SLP Strut Tower Brace
-Eibach Pro Kit
-Wilwood "Big Brake Kit," front and back.
*I have the stock manifolds and Y-pipe/cats if you wish to revert it to stock for smog testing, they were professionally removed and not cut.
The car has an Alpine MP3 IDAX001 (ipod/mp3 ONLY) headunit, with an ipod jack in the glovebox. It also has focal composite speakers all around, and an alpine amp in the trunk powering them. I do not remember the exact model of the speakers and amp but I they were in the medium price bracket and I assure you are better than stock.
As far as the paint and overall condition of the car, I dare you to find a better example of a 9 year old car. The paint still glistens like new, but unfortunately does have some imperfections. A few rock chips here and there and a couple tiny dents on the rear quarters (that you probably won't find unless I tell you) and that's about it. For a 9 year old car, this thing looks AMAZING, and I think you'll agree.
So how much?
I'm asking $10500, but will entertain any serious offer. Please don't hesitate to PM/email with any and all questions, including requests for more hi res pics!
Or if you aren't an email kind of person, feel free to call me at 847-702-3637. If I can't answer, PLEASE leave a message. I work about 12 hours a day and may not be able to answer right away.
Thanks for looking!
