Seeing how the majority of you show photos of your collectors item - I might as well show a few of mine as seen below. However - there's a dozen or so more on my business web site - reachable by clicking the link then scrolling to the bottom.

I don't know anything about Florida law about vehicle inspections, but I know that you cannot pass any type of emissions without out it. And, it is against federal law to remove it.

I dont think he is referring to the cats! He I believe is talking about the resonators! Five-O you are talking about the 2 buldges between the xpipe and the mufflers????????? not the xpipe and the exhaust manifolds!!!!! If its the resonators, remove them weld in some pipe and the car will be a little louder, and your decel popping will probably get some what worse!!!!!

Any state that has no vehicle inspection and only one license plate - hey: I rest my case. The best of the best. Now if they'll only allow motorcycle size plates on Florida cars - I will be very happy.

I'm not a fan of the term LOL but if I was - it would be used here. Possibly you need to read every post on this site - and check out all of the Camaro owners who've told of their every improvement - change - HP gain - photo - etc. Yet when I go to show what little I've done...I'm out of line?? I think it's time for a "re-tune" - if you catch my drift. Whats that saying? When you got-it......

No...I'm talking about the two bulges between the manifolds and the X-Pipe. They're both about 6" apart. I was told by another Camaro owner that if you removed them and added - something - whatever - it would boost the HP and make it louder - not that louder is my goal.

To end the dispute about GPS and the speedo, all aftermarket programers have speedo adjustments for different tire sizes and gears. Guess where they make these changes? Yep, in the PCM. If it was derived from GPS, there would be no need for those adjustments.

Now we're on the same page. Thanks for doing the research and showing the photos. That is exactly what I was talking about only those are the high performance ones you're all telling me I need to get. I believe the stock ones have two of those bulging things - not one.

So I'm under the impression I should replace the stock one with this Cat version. If I do that - anyone know what and WHERE one would feel the difference - if any. I hate bolting on 3 to 6 hundred dollars and not seeing any difference whatsoever. If noise is the only difference - not worth it.

I agree that does make sense - what you said but if you saw all three (2 actual GPS) instruments reading the exact same reading - you couldn't help but wonder. If one tried to set up 2 GPS and match them with their speedo - they couldn't clone this - for love nor money. Thanks.

Correct. Any/all GPS should read the same. But what are the chances they all read the same as a factory speedo?

Can someone tell me how we get a photo in the upper left corner by our name? Just telling me the location is worthless. I'm relatively ignorant on PC stuff. Actually - on most stuff.

+1

Why can't you accept that YOUR CAMARO'S speedo is that correct? Others have posted differences so there's your "margin of error". Yes there is a margin for error but in the middle of that margin there's dead on accurate. Count yourself lucky and as someone else posted, take your tin foil hat off, haha.

Get headers and high flow cat system and it'll make a big difference with HP and sound. Check out American Racing Headers kits.

The top GPS in this photo is the new PASSPORT iQ which is the cream of the crop though I realize that too will be countered by a few 6 cylinder fans. Go for it! That is the newest one out and can only be obtained thru Escort. It is a really cool GPS with a 5" screen and the high end radar.

But it is the iPad 2 via Verizon that is the absolute ultimate vehicle piece of electronics. Not only is the iPad 2 the coolest thing in existence (no matter what anyone says) but as a GPS...OOOOMMMMGGG it is unreal. Especially if you have all of the $$$ high end GPS apps to go from one to one - which ever mood you're in. Each of these GPS apps not only give you a view of your future where ever that may be and like NO other 2 to 4 grand factory GPS will do - but you have a complete computer at your finger tips, as well as great speed apps such as the second link below.
So - why 2 GPS? Having the ultimate has always been something that I just can't shake. As to all of the debates and refusals to believe that all three speeds are 100% identical - believe what you want. GPS & electronics is just one of my things and both GPS are naturally and obviously exact - coming from the same course - and they just both coincidentally happen to be the same as the cars Speedo? Not going for it. Much more to it than that. And for the person who tried the scape goat of saying the car speedometer works under a roof....duhhh...so does a cell phone and iPad 2 GPS. It's called triangulation. It doesn't need to see the sky - especially for the short time you're under a roof.

Do I believe our Camaro's are using a GPS for the cars speedo? 5% yes - 95 no but this is too freak to have all three readings exactly the same - especially when 85.4% of you have speedometers that are off by as much as 4 mph. Okay guys - start swinging.

Oh and I hate to burst your bubble but several places the the" Best of the Best" PASSPORT IQ, including Best Buy:

OMG, I need a drink after reading this thread!
