My first 2010 Camaro had basically the exact same problem. It got to the point where the car would no longer start. I eventually killed the battery attempting to start the car.

Turned out after a week in the shop that there was some bad spark plugs and a bad ECM.

Hopefully, it will be fixed like there was no issue very soon! Keep us posted.

that would please me very much if they replaced the ecm, but you know dealers they are going to try everything else first. which drives me nuts cuz the car is under full warranty. i just want my girl fixed so i can drive her

omg i am so mad right now i am just shaking. beyond livid mad
my car went in worse then when i took it there. the body shop was beyond careless fixing my car. it's is absolutely filthy including my door sills being scratched from some dumb ass dragging his muddy feet across it, but there are muddy hand prints all over the interior, the driver side floor mat has mud ground into it that i'm not sure will ever come out, there is mud across the door speaker, mud on all three of the pedals and mud across the gas pedal side of the carpet. not to mention that the exterior was never washed and there are scratch marks across my brand new bumper from when they just wiped it off with god knows what kind of rag
and on top of all of that, they didn't fix a single problem that i originally took it in for. the fan still squeeks, the pass door speaker still distorts and my god damn cruise control doesn't work, and guess what i called onstar and the same are still f*cking present
i am pissed, mad beyond words

No way that should happen. Grrrr take pictures!!!!!! show the service manager and get satisfation. Is your salesperson at the dealership you got it serviced at? they can really got to bat for you in a situation like this. By the way my fan squeaked and was replaced right away under warrenty and the speaker should be the same. The Cruise controll can take a little more diagnosing but still warranty no way it should have been returned to you without an explaination of what is wrong and when it will be fixed. If you can get things fixed msg me and I'll do what I can to help.

i have pics that i'm uploading right now, and sadly the best salesman ever that sold me my car left the dealership last summer.

i have done alot of crying tonight that's for sure. and i'm not even bothering with that piece of sh*t dealer any more, which by the way is COMPETITION CHEVROLET in Stony Plain. i'm going straight to GM Canada on this one

wait a minute it was probably totally clean when you brought it in wasn't it? So yes the outside would anger me too. We had a customers Camaro in for service the other day and even with putting paper down and covering the seat in plastic the the techs wouldn't get in and drive it around to their bay out of respect for a nice clean car and out of fear of getting it dirty they had me come drive it around. No Camaro would be left outside on my lot we know owners baby their Camaro's so we do too

yup she was spotless when i took her in. she was fresh from her winter detail when i took her in. i drove her for 2 days prior with no rain and there was just a fine layer of dust on the outside

i am aghast.
some careless people just dont care to lift their legs high enough to
not hit the speaker on the way out.

in my shop everyone gets a free car hand wash and hand dry, even if its only a
small item, its the point.

i cannot bring myself to letting a dealer drive my car,
as i see how they treat cars dropping off/picking up from me. when i bought my camaro,
they told me it was going to be in july 27th. they tern asked me to come finish the paperwork. i went down, handed them a bank draft, and they said the car would be in tomorrow. turns out the salesman was leaving for a cruise the next day and wanted his commission. the car shows up 2 weeks later, and they call saying its in!!! but theres only one chip in it, and we will give you a lil touch up paint. they also tell me its been pdi'd and they wash rats had to clean it up. BS BS BS

at this point i say im coming to get it and that they are not to touch it.
they argue and tell me the car i paid cash for (in advance) cannot leave until they clean it. they continue to tell me that they cannot let me take it without insurance and a plate. i tell them that only applies if there is a lein.
i had insurance for a week, but i threw my dealer plate on it and the wife drove it away. seems they wanted to show it to someone the next day. BS BS BS.
they havent seen the car in their shop since, and the first time i have an electrical glitch.....they cry MODS. once they get your cash, ethics seem to go out the window.
and the killer.....my satellite radio ran out on the day i paid for the car, not the day i got the car. same with the bogus warranty.

the worst part is that i had full trust in my dealer

when my trunk was peeling the fixed it right away and the car was shinning like new when i went back to pick her up

so i'm double disappointed that this happened. but i can tell you that they will never ever see or touch my car again

i try and learn all i can about the car i have at any given time.
it keeps my need for the dealer at a bare minimum.

i suggest you clean your car, pressurewash and wet-vac your floormat if you have to.
once she sparkles, check your paint for scratches. take lots of pictures,
and make note of your time spent. for every hour you spend cleaning, demand an oil change. if anything needs polishing, get an estimate to throw at them.
they detail guys at a bodyshop are the lowest paid guys in the building.
if they do it, it will look like they washed it with a brick.
if you need help, ill be dewinterizing my trailer tomorrow at the shop, and doing some final touches on a ZR-1.

ravirn is actually coming up from calgary this weekend, he saw the pics of my car and well lets just say he's not handling it well at all either

him and i are going to go to town on her on sunday and get her shinning like new

i really appreciate the offer hot ss that really means alot to me
