Tossed a few mods on the car recently. I put some Anzo matte black tail light surrounds on and love how much meaner they look. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with the Emblem Pros "CAMARO" rear emblem in white instead of the white bowtie.

I went to an audio shop for a little speaker install and ran into this fella in a white vert:

He was removing his factory MyLink stereo and switching to a Metra/Pioneer setup because the MyLink didn't have a CD player...
He then proceeded to sell me his factory MyLink system for $300. Damn. So now I'm going to have a MyLink setup.

While I was there I got some new speakers tossed in the doors and the trunk. Came out looking pretty clean.

So now I've got the radio sent off to White Auto and Media (the guys/gals that do the MyLink reprogram for Gen5DIY) and hope to have it back soon. I'm ordering some new floor mats for the C5fest car show and hopefully I'll have the MyLink installed by then as well.

I spent quite a bit o' money at the Billet Customs Stall this weekend. Got the Engine bay almost how I want it. I bought some solid white cover pieces that I plan on hitting with a bit of Black paint once I decide on a design This might be a perfect opportunity for RacnJsn95's LFX logo. While I was at C5Fest my MYLink harnesses showed up from Gen5DIY, so I'm going to spend the afternoon gutting out my center console.

But, for now here's the Billet Customs look.

MyLink installed!! I'm having a little bit of trouble inserting the wires into the 12 pin OnStar connector but other than that the unit is functional! This is the deepest I've been down the rabbit's hole so far electrically speaking. Tons of tiny cuts and scratches, but it was an otherwise fun install and I'm already in love with it.

Did you install the MyLink yourself ??
If so was there any difficulty in removing and updating the radio console and software ?
BTW I love you interior of your car.
Was the seats leather or is it something else.

The seats are from Katzkin. They replace the existing cloth with some pretty nice napa leather. The MyLink job was intense, but Gen5DIY sent some very easy to follow video instructions. You have to have the radio reprogrammed by White auto and media. and it has to be a MyLink box. I really lucked out and got the touch screen and box for $300 from a guy who was replacing it for a metra/Pioneer combo. Still haven't figured out why on earth he wanted the aftermarket rig, but to each their own.

Haha, very few people catch that. Though I get both Metallica and H.P. Lovecraft fans complimenting it. By far the coolest thing I've done to the car.
