I was looking at the Loudmouth system. Is it possible to lose backpressure though?

I'll gladly pay $600 as opposed for a $400 system if it sounds better. Us V6ers, we have to be a little more careful when buying an exhaust system because none of us want our cars to sound like crap. Im actually looking for recomendations. Ive heard MRT was a pretty good one though.

X3. If you're determined to go that route, take it to a local muffler shop and get them to do the muffler delete and transfer your tips over. Should be able to get by for close to $100 depending on where you're at(the SS guys here are paying $85 I believe).
Exhaust note is a personal opinion. You may search the sticky above with all of the exhausts posted KMPrenger is managing.
Another thing to remember is if you plan on doing headers the note will change again.

No, you shouldn't lose HP.

MRT Ver 1.0 replaces the mufflers with a Aeroturbine resonators... so not quite the same as a muffler delete...

Let me qualify that....sounds so much better than stock. The LM on it's own, as much as I love a great exhaust note, is a bit overwhelming on the highway over 2500 RPM. The drone drowns out the radio and passengers. Thats great if it's your MIL, but not so much if it's anyone you want or need to hear. Thats just personal preference though.

In my opinion for an extra 133 bucks you get a better sounding exhaust. I have heard both and I prefer the sound through the muffler. Not to mention if you ever do headers down the road it will ound much better. My buddy did the LM1 and after he put headers on it sounds like crap.
