New Member - Brand new Camaro today

I just picked up my new green camaro today from the dealership. And, its amazing.

Today so far, i've hooked up my Onstar Mylink to unlock and lock the car, and check the fuel and tire pressure, and more with my phone. Which, is an amazing feature. I've put on the bowtie delete on the front grille. And, i took off the tail light bezels and painted them gloss black (still drying) so ill install those tomorrow as well as my black out tail light acrylic covers.

Monday Im heading to a muffler shop to do a muffler delete, and put in straight pipes.

Let me know what you guys think so far.

Muffler delete on a V6? I hope you have heard one and actually like it, and it's the reason you are doing it.... good luck tho!

Congrats!!!

You may want to look into something more robust on those tail light bezels. Krylon will eventually look like crap.

Definitely listen to a !muffler V6 before you go cutting yours off. If it were mine, I'd wait a bit and save for a performance exhaust system. The 3.6's in these cars make a great sound...just need the right performance exhaust to really make it resonate.

Ya, ive read a lot on here that people have had terrible raspy sounds from straight pipes on the v6, but a buddy of mine got his done on his at the same place im doing mine and it sounds great in my opinion. Ill post up a video of it this week for you guys to judge for yourselves.

Ive used krylon with a few layers of clear coat after on some of my GSXR parts and its lasted a few years no problem in the sun, so i think it will be alright because of the clear coat.
