Pony Wars Fall (aka Camaro Octoberfest) October 7-9, South Georgia Motorsports Park

Once again, we're teaming up with LSR Performance and Steeda to put on one heck of a party! This is our chance to prove ourselves and our cars against Mustangs, GTO's, Challengers and other domestic "breeds," and have some fantastic PONY WARS!!!

Registration fee will be $10 per car

October 7 - 6:30 until?? - Join us for a pre-party being hosted Poolside at the Host Hotel - Salad, Pizza, Wings, Breadsticks & dessert - $13.00 per person

October 8 - 8:00 start - Police escorted cruise and all day activities at South Georgia Motorsports Park---activities to include test & tune/grudge matches/heads-up brackets and possible AutoX (based on response), maybe another car show

October 9 - Farewell breakfast and safe journeys home

Cancellation policy is 4:00pm day of arrival, so if you think you might attend, go ahead and reserve your room to take advantage of the group rate. If the unthinkable happens and you can't attend....just cancel!

How many would be interested in an auto x course? Was maybe thinking auto x during 1st half of the day and 1/4 mile the second half?

OK...here I am! Yesterday was tax day and it wasn't pretty. Also had a closing that needed some troubleshooting.....but I'm back!!

October 8th is doable for me and probably most area football fans (UF seems to have the biggest game going), so I'll start making some contacts regarding security and cruise route and setup. Also...let's hope they leave this thread up since it says "Camaro Fest" in the title. I've sent a message to Tim, but no response yet, so ..... 2quick....if you hear from him, let me know the status.

Regarding the AutoX....last year we were able to do that simultaneously with 1/4 mile racing. Some will like one and some will like the other, and a few will want to do both, but we were able to do them at the same time last year., just takes a little coordinating. I know we have to have a minimum number of cars(which we couldn't pull in last November, so let's hope this works out different), and there's a decent cost to it, so let's start checking on that.

I'm in....along with my buddy owner of the TT Escalade and I am hoping to add another friend that is looking for a TT Camaro, 700 hp GT500 or CTS-V, either way, I'm coming with 3 cars that will run the 1/4 mile!!
