Sigh, nothing to do on Saturdays =/

Well I got done catching up on my favorite anime, and now there's nothing to do. What do you guys do in your spare time? I'm bored of my ps2 as I just recently beat Final Fantasy VII and X again in the past 3 weeks putting over 300 hours total into both games. There's nowhere to go play M:TG on saturdays, TV is retardedly boring nowadays (besides football), there's no good laser tag places anywhere near here. I've seen all the new movies I've wanted to.

Any suggestions, even though seeing that you guys that respond have nothing to do either so I'm probably letting the blind lead the blind.

Bleach and Naruto are my favorite ones that I haven't got on DVD. I have Initial D (been into it before it came to America), Hellsing, Full Metal Alchemist, Rouroni Kenshin + OVA's, Yukikaze (japanese top gun meets stealth), wrath of the ninja, Ninja scroll (just the first one), Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and a bunch of other anime here that I watch once in a while.

I hated Akira btw. The last 15 minutes took it from 4.5 stars down to 1 star.

Read a book? LOL I have no idea if you're into reading...

I watch a lot of TV and movies, as well as surf the 'net, read (over 600 books in my 'library' but have only read about 225) and am a comic collector (over 7000 of them in my basement and more every month)...

Also have tons of video games I've never even played ranging from SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, N64, PS1, Game Boy, GB Advance, Nintendo DS, Gamecube and Wii.

Used to play White Wolf's World of Darkness RPG's years ago (and have a huge amount of money in sourcebooks) but don't have anyone to play anymore. Used to collect M:tG 10+ years ago also, but it got ridiculously expensive since I was mostly a collector.

Yep, I'm a dork.

@ EllwynX
I've read Eragon (again), Eldest (again), All the harry potter books (except the 7th) and American Gods in the past month and a half. I've run out of good books to read. I am thinking about going to get deception point from Dan Brown but I don't really wanna drop 20-40 dollars if they only have hardback. As for the anime, Yu Gi Oh was alright. I just play M:TG casually but I have some of the oldies (few dual lands, force of will etc.) Digimon was cool as we power rangers (I love the whole transformer thing and robots, but I highly dislike Mecha anime. I loved beast wars and Zoids, but those ended far too early for my taste. I used to watch Witchhunter Robin but it eventually began to bore me.

@ Camarospike
Akira sucked because of the whole transformation thing near the end. Anyone who hasn't understood FLCL would be beyond lost with that. Up until that point it was a great movie. I have a bunch of the anime you listed as well, it was the "...and many more" part. I have seen Evangelion and liked it, but not enough to buy. I couldn't get into gungrave and inuyasha became more childish/kiddie than Naruto ever was/is. I'm just a big fan of desperation moves/ninja type elements. If you don't like Naruto, watch episodes 46-50 and then tell me Rock Lee isn't a bad ass. I'm sure you can find them on youtube. I think that's why I'm a big fan of the series, and Kenshin also. He was a god in terms of swordsmanship but there were times when he was challenged and would pull out some insane move that comes out of nowhere since the "battousai" was hidden away. There was always a way to be amazed when he was fighting the tough enemies.

I've always wanted to try escaflowne and Pat Labor but I can't seem to find a decent episode list or something that tells me what comes first. Is the movie first or are the episodes first? Which Macross comes first? Zero? Macross? Macross 2? Macross +? I just started watching Samurai 7: Search for the seven, but I only have the first DVD. Waiting on netflix to send the rest.

EDIT: I used to play World of Warcraft in my spare time but I let my account subside on the 16th so I can't just log in and ROAMN to slaughter innocents anymore.

Wow...I've seen and liked all of those, at some point. Can't say I like the Yu-Gi-Oh! anymore...Digimon lasted a year. But somehow, Jackie Chan Adventures never got old. hmm. Haven't seen the latest Rush Hour edition yet...

Mindz, Do you listen to Music, you could go pirating, that's always an hour job for 5 songs:p. Or do you like reading crap and learning about the crap you're reading about online? www.HowStuffWorks.com is an excellent Time burner, go up there and click on a Topic, and you'll get a hit you like, which links you to at least 10 other articles. I've spent 2 full hours on that site, and didn't realize it untill it was time for dinner.

I have howstuffworks as a favorite and just yesterday I spent 3 hours getting EVERY SINGLE SONG from the music for the maiden voyage d/l'ed. I even have some remixes and added a few songs of my own.

445 MB of mp3's are going to make one hell of a soundtrack once I decide to listen to music.

i didnt put Yu Gi Oh, I enjoyed yugioh a lot, ive started watching the new stuff online at work, i wanted to watch the 2nd season (i think) where the god cards are first introduced. I loved the JCA's and Digimon was awesome. ive still got the cards, (and my pokemon cards as well).

thats why i enjoy bleach so much. I particularly like chad, strong silent type.

I know how childish Inuyasha can get. the g/f likes watching Shinchan. i cant stand that stupid ish. i prefer anime that is drawn more to real life specs than people with their jaws 2 ft from their face. lol

Escaflowne was made by the same people as Cowboy Bebop and whereas CB was able to be watched for the most part out of order, Escaflowne is a purely episodic show. ill look around for you for an episode list. and I dont remember how Macross is ordered in. Samurai 7 is pretty cool.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of "welcome to the flint". That whole album is pretty sick.

I stopped watching DB when I couldn't keep a straight schedule watching them after school. I kinda know the sagas in order, but the it's Naruto with fights that take 8 episodes instead of 2, 3 at the very most. Otherwise it's a great show.

EDIT: Sweet, I just caught some of the verses from the last GRB at rapmusic.com Those guys always have some pimp battles. Tonedeff and Deacon the Villian started there. So did Okwerdz. But that's for anyone who's into underground hip hop.

Drinking costs way too much to make it a part time job. (You see what I did there?)

I'm about ready to go out to a pool hall but in the bay, the only place to meet people is clubs. I don't do clubs, so that's somewhat of a problem.

Cool...check out, I think...page 94 Readers Rides. I'm the first Camaro in there. There's also a link to it in the off topic section tilted something like Camaro performers Mag. I was very excieted to have made it in there.

Let's see...what do I like to do in my spare time. Well, with what little spare time I have, I like to play w/ my boy, Dylan. He's 2 1/2 and is a bundle of joy and is always ready to go. He wants to play, play, play. That's pretty much all I enjoy doing. I used to do the games, games on the internet, fiddle around the house and build things, etc. I love working on the car...whether it be just a quick wash to a full detail, vacuum the interior, shine it all up. But, this time is just so valuable to me. I don't get to see him enough as it is. So, there goes all my free time. Yes, I still like doing other things....but I just can't get enough of my boy.

I glad your son is special to you. I personally don't plan on having kids for a few years so that's out of the question for me though. And you boy loves cars so he's probably out there helping you clean it. SLAVEDRIVER!!!! j/k
