Alternative Bluetooth for Camaro?

I dont have bluetooth for my LT/RS Camaro but i really want bluetooth for my iPad 2 and my cellphone.

Went to the dealership to look at getting the bluetooth installed but its just too much, like 600 installed.

Is there any alternative way to get bluetooth on the camaro? maybe some transmitter that plugs into the AUX or something??

If you do not need Onstar, then Costar might be your best option.

Another option, if you need the Onstar, is to replace the Onstar module (VCIM). Details can be found here.

Researched this Costar and it only works for your phone, does not support music...which is what i really need it for.

Basically im looking for a Bluetooth Car Kit that plugs into the AUX jack in the center console, so i can wirelessly play my music from my iPad2 through the stereo speakers. Im sure that i can also use the handsfree calling on this if i pair my phone cause i have plugged my phone directly into the aux jack and the car automatically uses the OnStar mic when your making a call, pretty cooL!

so yeah, i just need something to Bluetooth my iPad2 music to the car. Thanks!

If all you are interested in is streaming music then all you need is the PDIM installed. Details available here.

I had mine installed at the dealer for about $250. It needs to be programmed by the dealer.
