Hey everyone, I ordered my camaro from classic in grapevine,tx. black on black 2ss/rs hurst shifter. Just curious as to who ordered from classic,what you got, and when you ordered or what # in line u are. thanks

And I email ERIC HALL there all the time. Any info I get goes to him first before the boards.....Just because they are another cool dealership and always have been looking to be on top of this car at all times.

If I couldn't buy from myself, I'd be going to TEXAS!

Eric Hall on Oct. 13 and he said I'm #2 in line... but got CGM...and short throw shifter... so who knows what I am now. I got a 1ss with black interior. I think I might switch back to black and drop the shifter

Are you guys (the one's who ordered from Classic) paying MSRP? I ordered with another DFW dealer before agreeing to price, but I made it clear I would not pay more than MSRP and I did not put any money down. I was told this week the dealer will be asking for 5k over MSRP. I told him thanks but no thanks, I'll wait till the dust settles. I still have a "sold" order with him but I am pretty far down on the this. Are there any DFW dealers selling at MSRP?

Yes, I ordered from Toby at Classic and he even said that Classic will offer supplier or employee discounts if GM allows them. I believe that GM has said both discounts will be allowed. Toby already has my employee discount number on file!

I did also put down a $500 refundable deposit. I ordered Nov 13th I think and I was #82, a few people have dropped out since then, but Toby did not have an actual number. I am ok with waiting though since I have the Hurst.

I ordered mine from Mike Carnes at Classic. I tried to talk to other dealerships closer but THESE guys are on TOP of their game plus they are good friends with CamaroScotty which makes them okay in my BOOK.

I'm #78 or around there..... I got a 2LT ABM with the gray interior trim and auto.

See this is what i dont get, i ordered on 10-24 and when I talked to Alex earlier this week he said i was 74. I find it hard to believe 73 ordered one in the first week and a half (not impossible just unlikely i think) but what i find even more strange is that only 6 were ordered between 10-24 when i ordered mine until jan when u ordered yours...anyone have any thoughts

also forgot to mention, alex told me they were only expecting 6 the first month...so if anyone is further down the list like i am (supposedly) we could be waiting a loooooong time before we get ours..especially if they arent turning out much more than 6 the following months...i cant believe im saying this but im really considering cancelling the order

That being said, I think in the first few weeks there were a LOT of orders ..

As far as 6 the first month .. I do think it will pick up as production picks up ...

Remember the first month is only 2 weeks.

I ordered mine at noon on the 13th and was number 14. Since then 2 people have dropped out - now at 12. So even if they were selling one per hour, that would still seem about right.

I ordered on 10/15, I think, through Toby. I was 63 or 64 out of their 67 allocation, which sux because I had another order through a local dealer as #3. I had to change dealers when my original dealer told me they changed from MSRP to Market Pricing instead.....typical. Toby has called me multiple times with updates, and I've been very happy with the level of Camaro knowledge at Classic.

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow to see what # I am now. I'm hoping for a May or June delivery.

I spoke with Toby today, and he said that I was #54. A high number, but still better than just barely getting in the first allocation. I'd expect my order to go through in June for maybe late June delivery. *fingers crossed*

BTW, I haven't pulled my Hurst Short Throw, since I'm hoping the constraint will be lifted by then.
