Yeah the kit I was thinking of before is Mother's kit. Haven't tried it yet. Have you used it?
Nope. I'm not big on OTC stuff. You can find a gem or two every once in a while (the Mother's Powerball for exhaust tips for example), but for the most part, quite a bit of that OTC stuff is cheaply made in China junk and the quality of it leaves a lot to be desired.

I'd be scared to use shoe polish on my paint because as soon as I get dressed up, I would rub up against the car and get shoe polish on one of my suits. That would suck. If you're going to use Black Ice, you may as well use shoe polish because it's cheaper. Hell, a jar of Kiwi probably goes a long way.

I take my bucket, wash mit, meg car wash and towls with me to the hand car wash. I give them extra 5 bucks to use my gear to wash and dry. I also tip them. Even hand washing yourself you will get some light swirling... Ohhhh I also spray adams detail spray over the car while it is wet, before they dry it. I'm sure you could work out the same. One thing about car wash folks.. they will do anything you ask for a buck.

I did get my shoes pretty damn shiny with kiwi...but I have a silver car so I don't think this will work for me, lol.
