Stock L99 2SS + IPS Twin Turbo Kit = ??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

On a Mustang Loaded dyno the car made 551 RWHP and 601 TQ on a "safe" tune on pump gas in a automatic, setup so my wife can drive it to the grocery store still.

WOW! I couldn't be happier... I already have been waxing Corvettes Down in Mexico pre tune, tonight, I'm going out to find out how much faster it is!

I couldn't be happier with the IPS Twin Turbo setup. The car drives, sounds, and handles stock, and when I push a bit harder it comes ALIVE!

If you want to make some power IPS can get it done!

They are finishing up my car right now. They've done all my work. They got similar numbers with my supercharger/cam combination. IPS does great work.

I am not concearned right now...

This car will mostly be a street driven car and only tracked rarely. I do take it to Mexico some one the weekends, but other than that, my wife drives it as her daily.

If I did ever hurt the motor, I'll have a 427 LSX built to the hilt that is coming out of my Corvette to be replaced with a new ERL superdeck, so there is a plan B if it were needed.

Took the car to the track yesterday while testing my Vette... Made just one easy pass in the Camaro, but with a soft launch (rolling it out) on the factory tires that came on the car, it went 11.74@121!

I believe it could have gone faster, but we were there to test the other car so I didn't get much time to run the Camaro.

Still, I am very impressed that my otherwise stock L99 car went that fast.

Great job on the Turbo kit IPSMotorsports!

That's a great time. Where did you go racing? I'd love to take mine to the track sometime to see what it will do.

We went out to National Trail Raceway for the Columbus Racing Track rental.

No, this car is actually my wife's car, but she said she needed to get to the grocery store faster so I had the guys at IPS install the turbo kit

Yeah, I didn't want to put drag radials on it or launch it hard since the car is 100% stock other than the IPS Motorsports TT kit.

Normally I would send the car to RPM Transmissions for a complete Trans and Diff upgrade and then get the good axles and studs from the Drive Shaft Shop.

If I had those upgrades I would have leaned on it some to see what it could really do.

This kit is on waste gate pressure too!

I saw Dark's and Boost's Camaro's last week there...Even saw the dyno run of Boost's Beast!!!! That was amazing with the cutouts....

My IPS Twin turbo on my V6 Camaro is over 400hp to the rear wheels right now...Cant wait for next weeks numbers....

I ended up going 11.22@128 on the stock run flats.... I think it can see 10's on street tires.
