New lights for Eleanor

This weekend my Friends Bill and Adam installed my new White/Blue Halos on my 2010 2LT non RS on the front lights, fog lamps, foot wells, and after burner lights. These look so cool in person. Highly recommend.

fastlane2010, I believe the reason you cant see my Halo's when the lights are on is because I also got the super white bulbs for night driving. They are really bright. The stock bulbs are not as bright and you could see the Halo. I did not get the HID's since I spent enough $ with the upgrades we put on. The afterburner lights need to be seen in person to appreciate. They really look cool.

how hard were they to put in yourself?? i am very auto savy, but don't know how i feel about taking apart the headlight housing and putting it back together. i'm scared i won't get the seal right and will have condensation or water in the light...

I was lucky and had two friends who had done it before do most of the work. We had to bake the lights at 220 for 20 minutes. Use a flat head screw driver to pry and when it got hard put the headlight back in for another 5 minutes. It took 45 minutes for the first light and 20 for the second. The hard part was the wiring.

I have a 3 way switch on the fuse box during car shows, and one in the car to switch from White, Off, Blue. They are set to come on when I start the car, and I can turn them off or switch to Blue. I have another switch for the foot wells so I can leave them on, turn them off, or have them come on when the doors open.

They are wired on the right side of the steering wheel. I will load a picture in a couple minutes.

See the pics. One switch (by the wheel) is for the Halo's and the other switch (closer to the radio) is for the footwells.

Those look pretty good. You do know though, that the name "Eleanor" kind of makes people think of either a 73 Mach 1, or a 76 GT 500, right?
