I just discovered PlastiDip today...phenomenal! I'll be doing my wheels next week when I get my new tires put on. You can get it at Home Depot for under $7 a can...paint section. If your wheel gets screwed up, peel it off, and redo it for no more than $7 rather than having to pay to get it repainted.

Not at all. Do it!! Are you planning on using the plasti-dip? I still haven't heard from anyone who has used that on paint, then peeled it off safely. If I could know that for sure, I'd potentially give this a try...

i am going to do it this weekend
i dont know about pulling it back off, but if i dont like it, it will come off one way or another. i just hope my decals came in today also.

Well i did it

but i did mess it up (used protection tape instead of painters tape)
it stuck to the tape also and pulled up and off a little on the ends but, when i get home i will video me pulling it off so you guys can see if it comes off easy or not.

it has been on for 3 days and i like it and will redo it after i take off the part i messed up.

Ok so I did mine and used some tape I had laying around

Well the Plastidip stuck to the tape when I pulled it off and messed up the edges of my paint job
So since I had to do it over (went and got the right tape)

I figured I would show everybody how easy Plastidip is to remove
And it shocked me to find out

Wow, that's pretty cool! Thanks for taking the time to make a video of that. It was very helpful. Do you think if you use the correct tape and remove it quickly that the plasti-dip will hold up ok? That came off so easily, I'm wondering how it'll withstand rock chips, bugs and the elements.

holds up great
and yes i waited to long to pull tape and also used a fiber tape and plastidip stuck to it
if you spray then remove tape it wont stick to it

its been growing fast this year and she wanted it bagged.

the blackout on the SS facia looks PERFECT, especially on that Summit White.
Doesn't look or not even necessary to do it on the v6 bumper, as its not even noticable cus of its shape.
