Question for Camaro Scotty

I feel you know your stuff pretty well so I wanted to direct this to you. I ordered back in october a silver ice metallic 2lt with rs appearance automatic transmission camaro. I ordered from a smaller dealership that a relative of mine works at. I was the first order put in the system at this dealership. I know there are talks of v6 constraints and all that. So what is your best guess on when I will see my car?

Hopefully he's busy selling lots of cars today because the Chevy programs end on Monday.

How many Camaros was your dealer allocated this past Thursday? If he was allocated any, the V6's are on constraint anyway. If your order is number 1, you probably got passed if number 2 was an SS. I guess the dealer would have called you and asked if you wanted to change to an SS. Otherwise, you have to wait for the V6 to be unconstrained.

There is never a time frame as to when something may come off constraint.

Not quite. There's a big discussion on another thread and, according to fbodfather, the v6 constraint is against dealer stock, not sold orders.

If you look at the constraints above, there are ZERO V6 models available this week. Only V8's. Scott may have been talking generally about the V6 constraint.
