Washing your Ride...

At least East Coast members----Is anyone else besides me starting to get frustrated with washing your car and within a few hours its covered in lime green dust? UGH, just feels like a waste of time and effort to try and keep it clean. I have a SIM with black rally stripes or should I said lime green and black rally stripes.

Amen, I do the same thing. Just remember to use a new duster on an old car first to avoid the parafin streaks. I have had mine since I had my bright red 87.

Ye I was really getting tired of washing my car. It's always rains the next day or my neighbors cut their grass and get leaves on my car. So yesterday I washed and put it in the garage. Dont know how long I'll keep her as a garage queen but for now it looks good .

We get pine pollen around here, but we're still dealing with lots of rain and cold. No pollen yet. California Duster is your friend.

Black vert, garage kept and pollen season is still kicking my butt....Ordered a California duster.

Here's a link to Junkman's threads/videos explaining how to properly use one to avoid scratching your paint.

Pollen season is ending here.. California duster is a savor. Added benefits of washing at home... Leaf blower will remove all those nasty deposits you don't see and can't get to!!
