5th gen Firebird (My rendition)

I've seen a lot of conversions from aftermarket companies, but they are based on the 2nd gen Trans Am, rather than the 1st Gen, which would make more sense seeing as its what the Camaro was designed after. So, I decided to come up with something myself. This is what I have, as far as the nose of the car goes.

What do you think? It makes you wonder: what could the designers at GM come up with?

(Sorry if this is the wrong section)

Nice drawing, like the headlights . Not a fan of the big grill

Your rendition makes much more sense than other Trans Am conversions. I like it! It's great how you echoed the tail lights in your headlights. I also like the turn signal/marker lights, nicely integrated.

I'd like it if the grills were a little smaller.

Pretty sure these are just 'dreams'... as Pontiac is dead and buried. Aftermarket is another story altogether; there are aftermarket 'birds out there, just none i've seen that replicate the 1st gen.

lol I know, i just think my drawings look odd with normal size tires. Every car I've drawn is like that.

i like the big tires...if Pontiac would have built a retro GTO instead of the non descript egg of a car, they would still be in business today...

Very similar to this 68 that someone posted.

That seems like it's based on the 2nd gen though, which is what i was trying to stray away from.

My biggest beef with the modern trans am conversions is they change the side of the camaro very little. In the front and back it looks trans am but the side still screams camaro. You should draw up a side view of your idea. Looks pretty cool so far.
