Yes, the fellow I know with the ZO6 has problems with 3rd as well. He wants to install a short throw shifter to see if that helps.

I was also talking to one of the guys from work today and you and Layla may not be totally at fault. He claims that RCS is not maintaining the track as they expect this to be their last year. Any truth to that as far as you and Layla are concerned?

They are doing what they can with the volunteers, but I've raced there on and off from the Iaugral event in 85 until now and the rubber built up had not been removed this year imo.I wouldn't want to run a supercomp or supergas car there/rough.I never did make it last year but.....

Wow, 4600' DA for friday. Those are some nice times for that DA for sure. That 14.0 is probably around a ~13.5 corrected. sweet. For a 3380' track elevation we seem to get hooped with the weather and the DA.

As of right now I'm shooting to get out again on the 15th if anyone is interested.....

It must have been a busy night, I squeaked in 9 runs last time out.

i didnt even look at the times on the slips, i got 7 runs in but thats only because i was using the open header class lane which i was un aware of in the beginning. had a great time and i kept getting put with the fast cars as well even though mine is only a V6.

Well Barb got in only 4 runs due to a small shower at 8ish and only 1/8 mile as winds were high enough(50-60kph) that it made it unsafe on the topend.
Barbs best rt was- .208

1/8th-9.45 @80.78

Well good news

and bad news

Good news is that finally after 2 years of construction our munucipal water service is installed and inspected.

Our streets are no longer gonna be 1/2 gravel.

Bad news is that they are repaving all the roads this week and early next week so NO Racecity this friday

. 5-6" drop offs from the existing pavement and then the oil and tar. So we will be there July 22/11

You can race for fun Friday night, Saturday and/or Sunday in the Street Class in Medicine Hat if you like. Starts at 7:00 PM this Friday. Excellent track, good prep and you'll even be able to watch the Pro Mods do their qualifying on Friday night. $25 gets you and the car in.
