Some of the things that the moderators have noticed are a lack of respect and less willingness to help new members. Everyone here shares an interest in the Camaro. Whether you are a future owner, an owner of a rival car, or someone involved in the automotive industry. We are all here because of the Camaro.

Here are the site rules, please read though them in case you have forgotten them.

1) Respect. By far the most important rule here. Through the generations of Camaros, enthusiasts have come together for the love of the car and the community (in fact, the name "Camaro" means "friend, pal, or comrade"). So, the basic rules of real life apply here, show each other respect and you will get respect as well. Don't bash someone else here because you feel like it. Personally insulting other members will not be tolerated.

2) Disagree, don't attack. Disagree on topics, but try to leave it at that. Just because you don't like someones opinion on the car's engine, doesn't mean you should call him and his mother all sorts of names Disagreements are fine, and you should feel free to express your difference of opinion, but don't go out of your way to insult and flame someone. Please consider if you would say to someone's face the same thing you are posting.

4) Help. Be helpful, we are all probably here because of a question and people will go out of their way to help you. Try to do the same if you have the answer to a question posted. Camaro enthusiasts have to stick together. If you think not telling others about some technical info you have will make you and your car unique and prefer to be unique rather than share this information, then this forum is not for you. Help each other with questions and answers and I guarantee you, one day you will be helped out in kind here.

5) Offtopic in Offtopic forum. Well this should be self explanatory

6) Make suggestions in the suggestions forum. We promise to do our best to accomodate your suggestions. We're always open to making changes around here based on people's feedback and we love doing it; it's part of the fun for us !
Thank You

Well-said. There's something about the internet, and the anonymity it brings, that empowers people to be a lot more combative and disagreeable than they would be in real-life.

AMEN! There has been a lot of negativity...and that worry has led to many people to be as nice as they once were. I love the fact that we could come on and talk about anything....and now? There seems to always be that one person who has to dish it out while hiding behind their computer...thinking they are acting *cool* or something. We don't slam people here...and we don't INTENTIONALLY pick fights. I see more and more of that.

Play nice.

Be helpful.

Don't be a jerk.

Contrary to common belief, real men DO apologize....at least I think they do...If I ever make a mistake, I'll get back with you on that one.
THIS IS SPOT ON.

I've been known to post when angry. Believe it or not, lately I type up a long post and then realize I should hold off. An hour later, I'm usually able to look back, fix a few things, and come across in a lot nicer way. But, I try to watch it myself...and I've wanted to take off this mod a hat a few times to let loose.

Ladies and gentlemen....from young to older...let's do everything possible to make this an even better place to hang out than yesterday...and better tomorrow...and so on. It take all of us!

Well, you have my permission to delete any trash, lock threads, mail cash fines, and any other things you mods do.

Are you nuts? Don't give them any more power then they already have man. Pretty soon this will become an F-150 forum

Thanks
When I 1st came here, I asked a question about climate control, and it seemed like people started attacking because of the question.
I'm glad I stuck around because I've learned a lot on this site. More than my dealer can even tell me.
So keep up the good work mods, and I can't wait for people to start a "I got my car today!" thread and hope to be on there too!
Since everyone's being so friendly now, do we wave to other Camaro5's when we see them on the road?
