Went to the Columbus International Car show today. My wife's favorite was the Acura NSX. Of course I liked that but I really like the Cadillac CTSV. I did a comparison between sedans in the 40-50K price range. For me it came down to The Jaguar XE and the Alfa Guila. with the Alfa being the sedan I would choose.

If I were spending about 45k cash on a vehicle, I would probably be looking for a 1-2 year old vehicle with low miles. That would open up the possibilities to several really nice cars
