+1. I've been saying all along about how nice it would be if our SS's were like the 4gens and we had SLP items from the factory and SLP #'s.

did you notice it said "ALL sold orders" ?

meaning the ~30,000 sold orders should be made/delivered by the end of July.

4 months to make that many somewhat custom cars is awesome

Wow -- I love the way I'm misquoted......

I did not say that we'll build every sold order by June or July -- I said that we'd LIKE to get them all built by then and that we're doing what we can to schedule them as quickly as possible.........

........for two VERY good reasons:

>1. ...WE NEED THE MONEY!!! (a bit trite, but true!)

>2. ...We want you behind the steering wheels of your new Camaros -- you kept the faith -- so we want you in 'em -- and we also know that you are some of our best salespeople!

As to the front 'hash marks' on the left front fender -- that's a Tom Henry Racing signature from the 4th gen THR Camaros --

Well that cleared that up! Thanks for the clarification. We appreciate it, without you things would be that much more crazier. Can you immagine?:bangdesk::cry : It wouldn't be pretty! Thanks again!

With regards to getting the V6 and investing in some upgrades instead of going with the stock V8, besides the performance satisfaction, some people just like knowing they're not driving a stock car.

Personally I'd take the V6 and do some minor upgrades (CAI, Exhaust etc.) because thats what i could afford and then look at doing heavier mods later at my discretion. Plus the obvious of saving on gas and insurance. It's also kinda nice to pull up beside someone who doesn't know exactly what you got under the hood.

By way of the GMPP catalog if the LS3 has 1.7 then the 1.85 would gain about a ~10% increase in lift. Maybe a few more HPs over stock but it is a good bolt on to go with...especially the true roller versions. There is less valve train stress, guides last longer and the tips and stems last more too.

I disagree, because a modded V6 will easily be a 13 second car in the 1/4 mile that also gets close to 30 mpg to boot, that is fantastic value!! The V6 is not a reject trim level like in the mustang.
