Thumbs down Dented my rear bumper.

Any idea how much that might cost to fix? I am assuming I will need a new bumper since it is wrinkled. Not sure how you could do body work to flexible plastic.

New bumper time.

Figure parts+labor you are looking at around $1000. 500-600 for the new rear bumper cover and 400 or so for prep, paint and install.

I backed mine into my brothers drop hitch yesterday, it caught the defuser, or whatever its called. The backup sensors didnt read it for some reason. Oh well made it 2 months without a dent, ding, or scratch. another 32nd of an inch and it woulda got the paint. Ill b watching this for future reference...

It's hard to say without pic's but don't assume you need a new one. You would be surprised at how easily they can be repaired by someone with some experience. Many dents can be straightened with the use of a heat gun and they can be plastic welded

I was backing into a parking spot and was relying on the back up sensors to beep when I got close to a telephone pole. They did not beep. I do not have the best judgement with distance on the car yet. I have not driven it much. I cant believe I did that. Oh well life will go one.

I am not sure you could see much with a photo. The dent is all I can see because I know it is there. I will stop by the Body shop as soon as I can make it in for a quote.

It's fixable. Mine recently got fixed and it was dented and had a tiny hole in the bumper. I didn't need a new bumper and it looks good as new.
