I would ask your dealer to see if orders can be placed now, there is a guy on Camaro5 that placed an order for a 2012 convertible http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146240
I've been hearing we won't see pricing until July :/

how interesting... especially since I was told by a Camaro team member that the order date for 2011s ended around May 18th and I got the same June 2nd date for ordering confirmation on 2012s

start of production on 2012s will be July 18th... I'd be interested to know when your allocation will be here... if its before the end of July, I have a feeling you're going to really love your 2011 Camaro.

No worries there. She knows what I want and I know that it won't be delivered until the end of August or early September.

The way I figured it, I know that cars change year to year. They always have and always will. When I ordered my 5th Gen, I knew that I'd love the car and available options I ordered. I see the changes for 2012 (some I like, some I don't) and there will be changes again in 2013, etc... Bottom line for me is, I couldn't be happier with my choices and the car as a complete package. I wanted a convertible and waited for that, just as some will wait until the ZL1 is available or hold out in hopes of a Z28 becoming a reality. I couldn't care less about changes in comparison to my Camaro, because I love what I got. I'm happy Chevy continues to evolve the Camaro, but it won't cause me to "what if..." what I bought.

Did I read correctly on the ordering info? The FE4 suspension is standard on the v8?

Doesn't the "S" mean standard?

FE4 is standard on all 2012 Camaro SS models.

Think of it as a revisited suspension calibration, rather than a new feature.

I'm not sure how much has been shared at this point...

Lemme pull out the press release from Feb and see...

EDIT:

Off-hand, I don't know the diameter of the 2010-2011 or aftermarket sways...but here's the release on the 2012 FE4 improvement:

The new FE4 suspension debuts as a performance improvement for the Camaro SS coupe in 2012, focusing on more refined handling.

“Our objective was to create a more precise sport suspension for the SS coupe, with greater road-holding capability,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. ”We applied lessons learned from extensive track testing to better refine the suspension geometry for flatter cornering, a more neutral balance during hard turns, and minimized understeer at the limit.”

Elements of the FE4 package include:
  • Retuned front and rear dampers
  • New solid front (23 mm) and rear (24 mm) stabilizer bars
  • Twenty-inch aluminum wheels and P245/45R20 front/P275/40R20 rear tires (SS).
More than just new components, the new FE4 performance suspension incorporates learning from the ongoing development of the high-performance Camaro ZL1. In particular, the suspension geometry has been adjusted, including reshaped stabilizer bars that are repositioned outboard of the shock mounts. This results in more effective body control and more precise response in performance driving.

So has there been no news of power bumps or is that information not likely to be available yet?
