My own "Heritage" stripes

Having owned a 69 RS/SS for 20 years, and also having a graphics shop for a few years, I wasn't crazy about any of the stripes I've seen, so I did my own...

I like everything except for the LS3. Not too many people are going to know what that means. I would have gone with SS. Even 426 or 6.2L would have been better than LS3.

Nice job. I would say they are hockey stripes, I just don't see them that often to know the difference.

I'm not a fan of hockey stripes but I like what you did with the LS3, makes them different than the rest. Nice job!

This is my '69 that was the inspiration for going with yellow/hockey stripe combo. I'm still debating on doing the '11's roof in black between the ditch moldings....

Yeah, It took me a little while to decide on that... I plan on doing the SS emblems under the Camaro on the fenders, so that was out. Believe it or not, I considered the "6.2L" but it just didn't look right...something with the "L" just didn't look right with the stripe break. As far as the "426", I never really considered that... I guess it sounds kinda "Mopar" to me. So LS3 it was....

Thanks for all the compliments...
