Forgive the ignorance...WHAT IS THIS LINE TO?

It's been a long day....what is this line? Air conditioning?

Let's just say at some point and time...there was green mist flying out of it today.

Thanks...

See ya on the road,
Matt

You're supposed to figure out what it is before you unclamp it.

Sorry it is not going to be that easy.
Why did the gas come out, did it all come out? If so then the system is contaminated at the very least the drier will need to be changed before fixing the leak and recharging.

Yeah, the green mist was most likely the oil in the system.

I doubt the EPA is gonna waste their time on you

As long as you didn't damage the line, I doubt it's gonna set you back too much. Around here most shops would do an evacuation and recharge for 100-125.
