It's the Z28 spoiler. They're releasing it one piece at a time.

I would think it would look much better about half that height.

I think the high wing spoiler, looks at it's best on a 5TH GEN that has gfx.

My high wing, has a eagle with it's wings spread end to end

Rear pic of V1..

*** FYI, the sign company messed up on the rear graphics, and I ran out out time to have reprinted, since i leave tomorrow for the OCC / BBMOG event

Wing looks like it'll compliment well with the OEM GFX but other then that nothing else. Guess i'll have to see it on somebodies Camaro with the GFX installed.

Not a fan just yet..

And I think the wing looks great on my car with no gfx. G.M. calls them factory options because we have the option to use them or not. Thank goodness everyone's car doesn't have to look exactly the same. Keep those Camaro photos coming in.

It uses different holes. You will have to swap trunk lids, or have the old holes filled. It would have been nice if they used the same holes so we could swap them back and forth, but that didn't happen. If you look back on the previous pages of this thread, there is some good info for you.

Thanks, Yoda

i ordered mine as added accessory after i ordered my 2012. so i dont know how the dealer is gonna install it. they said its gonna be in there already installed once i get my car and i could still take home the stock spoiler. hopefully they are gonna fill up the holes since im paying for installation fee which ive been trying to have them waived off

To be honest, I think the high wing is restricted to rice burners(doesn't mean I like them there) and non-street racing cars (the aston below should have that wing). BUT, if I had a yellow SS and was going for the bumblebee look, I would add the high wing, but only after changing the front facia and other parts to look like bumblebee.

But that is just my opinion.... To each is own.

Page 5 post #120 shows where the wing bolts are located on the underside of the trunk lid.

I read somewhere that you have to get a stronger strut to hold up the boot lid once you get the bigger spoiler because of the weight. Is that true?

If so, what if you swapped the boot lid for carbon fibre? Would the difference in weight between the two lids make up for the extra weight from the high wing?

The wing comes with stronger trunk lid shocks as you can see pictured in post #120, but the wing only weighs about 9 or 10 lbs. so I don't think it would make much difference.
