I Love My Friggin Camaro!

So it only took me like 4 months to figure out how to start a new thread (thanks again kmcd...) so I just wanted to state to the general public that I LOVE MY CAR!

I am pretty sure I would sell an organ before I had to give this guy up

So far I have added the LSR CAI with custom tune, Borla S-type axle back (sounds amazing), window tints, and at some point I am thinking of changing the spoiler and the wheels (I want wider rear wheels on it).

I hope everyone on here loves their camaro as much as I love mine...(that was rhetorical, I know you guys/gals love your 5th gen as much as me )

That all depends on the organ.

Yep, same emotion here. Thanks for posting. I've had mine for 9 months. Still a thrill every time I drive it. (Its' not a daily drive, only goes out on nice days.)

I love my car a lot. To the point where it is dominating my project car budgets.

But it looks so cool at the end of each stage...I look forward to hitting the "Warranty Wall" where I can't go any further without voiding the warranty so that I can at least justify stopping...for now...

Just so I could test the roof height head clearance with a sunroof I went to a local Chevy dealer. . . . I've decided to not constrain myself to a sunroof though should I come across one I'd like it. AND THEN a salesman politely asks if I'd consider a new one, I thanked him and said financially I think a 2010 2SS/RS M6 with low miles is more what I'm looking for. So he asked me had I driven a 6 speed manual yet and I said nope not yet. He said well lets go for a ride If you'd like. . .

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't get this stupid ass grin off my freaking face OH MY GOD! That car really just insults all other camaros I've owned!

Honestly now I am much less interested on what color I may settle for and just want one with really low miles and a good price! The thing drove like a dream, handled like it was on rails, and accelerated like a FREAKIN MONSTER! He turned off the traction thing and the other assist, forgot what its called, then told me I could cautiously accelerate in 1st then get 2nd aggressively. . . . . OMG! OMG! OMG!
Damn I need a beer lol I CAN'T STOP SMILING!

WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! ! ! ! !

It's been a year and a half for me... it's my daily driver and I still can't keep the thing out of my mind. I LOVE my car... it's definitely the BEST car I've ever owned.

I can't believe that was the first time you test drove one Z28RockStar... I know you've been on here wanting one for quite a while now. It only gets worse from here... you'll have one in no time now!

Just to clarify, I have had my car about a month after they were released back in '09...it just took me about two yrs to sign up, although I used the forums quite a bit when researching parts for my car and so forth.

But I will say every time I get in my car it feels and smells brand new still (I only drive it during the summer).

And blizzpat, if you would rather have a Z06, I understand, but a guy I work with has a Z06 and almost everyone we work with likes my camaro better man. Yea his car has higher HP and is a better performing car overall, but looks and sound count for something.

Besides if you are going in that direction you might as well go for the ZR1 vette.

I have said it before but is worth repeating since this subject has come up.

Everytime I go to the garage and hit the unlock button the lights come one as if it is has been awakened with a smile on it's face and says " Hello old friend" As I turn the ignition and it starts, the cam echoing off the garage walls, the exhaust singing that beautiful song in perfect harmony " Please, let's go fo a drive" I sit there with Perma Grin on my face each and everytime. Of course I oblige, and oh what a joy.

Sorry, I was feelin' a bit rowdy yesterday. And I love photos of the 5th gen!

Congrats on your Camaro!

Had mine since 11/06/09, and I do love it as much as my child. Well... if i had a child, that is. And I'd probably sell my child to keep my Camaro (again, if i had a child).

Edit: Maybe we should start a new thread..."What would you do/sell/give for a Camaro?"
