Thought that the factory should have installed these emblems on the side to distinguish the SS from non SS Camaro's. I also thought that it needed something on the side dash passenger area.

Fender SS emblems are the one change I made the very first day I got my SS. Good job using current ones instead of 60's style that just don't belong IMO.

Thanks....I normally am not one to make mods.. but felt that these really should have been on the car from the factory.

Alway's thought that the large SS emblem should have been installed from the factory on SS models vs. the Chevy bowtie. May do this mod later.

One of the first things I did was add SS badges on the fenders. Last week I cut them off in favor of 1st gen V flags (avatar). This was because I had my street scene side skirts custom painted to include an SS and figured one SS on the side was enough.

Looks good! I put the same emblems on mine the first day I got it. I agree they should have put these on the car from the factory. I didn't think about putting one on the dash, but I'm going to get another set ordered today.

Bought them on Ebay from number 1 GM Parts these are GM factory emblems. The red ones were $12 each and the white was $12.49 They will ship them all combined for $5.00 USPS Priority mail 2-3 days.

It is a very blank area on the passenger side of the dash felt that the SS emblem was needed there too!
IMHO I think the emblems all look natural where I placed them! Of course, that is my opinion!

I did these emblems back in 2009. I removed the "Camaro" emblems from the fenders. Put SS emblems in their place. Then took one of the "Camaro" emblems and put it on the dash, along with an SS emblem that would normally go on the deck lid. Then after I S/C ed the car I put the "Supercharged" emblems under the SS emblems. All of these emblems are available from your local Chevy dealer.

I like the SS on the dash

I also like the SS in place of the front bowtie, but I am wary of changing my car. I kinda like her as she came...
I might cave, who knows

(interior plaques I'm ok with though - so that SS might be a nice idea)

I laugh a little everytime I see someone with the SS badges below the camaro emblems. I dont know just seems cheesy its like I just bought a pair of name brand shoes but it doesnt say nike big enough. So I must go out and get bigger nike emblems to make sure everyone knows what they are.

I did see a rear bowtie delete and the guy removed both camaro emblems from both fenders and placed one across the trunk where the bowtie was and deleted the trunk SS badge. Then where the camaro emblems were on the fenders put the SS badges. Looked pretty sharp

Carzzy, since you have a 2SS shouldn't your exterior and interior badges both have the red lettering? I thought the white lettered SS emblem meant it was a 1SS, but I could be wrong.

Personally, I like that the Mustang beside me may not know if I have the V6 or the V8 (guess sound would give it away, though.) That said, looks good. Especially on the dash where it's a bit blank stock.

Cincy: Red = RS package only.

What you're saying is true except for the fact that the SS emblems stitched into the headrests are also white so either way you're right or wrong depending on how you see it.

Also the tiny SS at the bottom of the steering wheel is white no matter what. I think that white in the interior is probably the best choice.
