New member here

Hello all just picked up my new to me 2011 Camaro with 9000 miles on the clock. So looking to do some mods and wanted to ask the experienced where to begin. I have about 1000 to work with so give me some ideas. Thanks

Injen cai this is the best cai for performance and sound -270
this is the one i have and it completley changes the sound of the car it is so much louder at wot wide open throttle

Mrt v1 or v2 exhaust -500

or

Flowmaster american thunder exhaust -400 dollars

led license plates and dome lights

all in all you only have to spend 770 at the most for exhaust and cai if you choose these

hid headlights if you have ls

I got my CAI intake & Borla axle back exhaust for less than that & I love then. Apex Chase (on C5) got me a good deal on them. We did a video of it today. It should be posted soon (maybe even tonight). Chase is really good to ask questions & help you figure out what you want. Send him a PM. In the end, just get what makes you happy.

Welcome and congrats on the car. Like said before V1 is louder at idle, cruise, and wot. intake Injen the best but Vararam RAI is coming out soon. On the dyno and paper performs better than Injen. But we will see soon. But at the end it's a personal choice.

Yea if there was a date about when the vararam would be out for sale I would get it. Guess gonna go with the injen short ram. Anyone know where to get one for a good price? Also torn between the american thunder or the mrt v1.0. Both sound great

Get a CAI(k&n, injen, airaid, etc) and exhaust(mrt v1 or v2, dynomax, flowmasters, etc).. That plus installation cost would get you a little right at 1k or more depending on which systems you get. Get prices for installation of CAI and exhaust and go on from there unleashing know how to do it or someone can do it for you

We recomend you look into a Roto-Fab or Cold Air Inductions intake. We carry both of them but they are not currently listed on our site. We off a Camaro5 discount for you guys however and have some killer pricing. Exhaust is usually the next mod. Are you looking for something loud and aggressive or something a little more tame? We carry some awesome sounding exhaust kits at great prices. Most people really seem to like Corsa and Solo Performance for good sounding exhaust kits that don't drone. Solo is priced pretty nice to! But if you want something loud we would say Flowmaster or SLP Loudmouth.

MRT Ver 1.0 is louder, more in your face than MRT Ver 2.0. MRT Ver 2.0 has a bit more refined sound... Had them both, loved them both! LOL

Congrats on the new Camaro...If you want loud MRT 1 MRT v2 is more refined like Scrming said.

Just save up a bit and throw a set of Twin turbo's on it!

We would be glad to answer any questions you have on the Roto-fab intake system. Our system performs well, sounds awesome and looks great. We have many options including dry or oil filter, air box color as well as hose colors. We have many customers here on this forum. Please take a moment to read their feedback on our system. Here is a link to more information, pics and a sound clip.

Well ordered the MRT v1.0 and a Roto-Fab CAI. Still have 500 left over and am considering the Trifecta tune. Think this would be good or should i just save the 500? Kinda gains could I expect if I went with the Trifecta?

used underglow neon - $60
cut springs - $FREE!
APR 3-tier wing off craigslist - $89
Hello Kitty Seat covers - $50

The look on your friend's face when they see your pimped-out Camaro - PRICELESS!

na, just kidding, you're gonna need some performance mods first (esp to get away from people laughing if you take my advice from above)

Enjoy the ride!
