The truth behind bird poop

Below is a link to an article about bird poop and what it does to coatings I found kinda interesting. BTY, I'm not a geek, I just get this stuff emailed to me on a daily basis

Seems like outdated info for an article published this year... there haven't been lacquer based paints used on new cars for awhile now. GM stopped using lacquer back in the early 1980's.

true they have not used lacquer based paints for quite some time now. the expansion expansion rates of coatings will change some but the impact can remain the same. Just thought it was an interesting read.
