Yelp! been here for 27 years, the place can be a zoo in the summer though. I have 4 years and 4 months before I retire from the fire department. Our daughter is a third grade teacher for the Orange County School District in Orlando and is carrying our first grandchild due in December.
That 6 hour drive might get a lot closer.

Guys, my number is in the phone book and the first beer is on me.

Congrats. Just today I became a grandfather for the 3rd time and I'm not even 50 yet.

I lived in Orlando for 13 years got burned out and moved near the mountains in GA. Gotta love the twistie-hilly roads, just need this Z28 to make it better. But I do miss the beach and once you have been to the Emerald Coast nothing else compares.

With a minor PCM retune and some CNC ported heads, may be a slight change in cam timing, we could have an easy 470-480 without the cost of a handbuilt LS7. I don't mean that we should do it exactly like Ford did. The LS7 will add a big price jump a Z/28 where a retuned LS3 would keep the cost in line with a larger group of customers (besides the retuned LS3 could become the stardard Corvette engine......ala 1970 LT-1 in the Corvette and Z/28).

Well, if our guess is close to being right, the car would NOT be a "sleepy zzzzzzzzzzz"...

Besides, it should HONK instead of snore...

If we're already getting the "BIG Z(L1)", maybe we can sneak up on some folks by referring to it as the "Lil Z"...

But maybe we're all getting a little too fixated on absolute horsepower. The Z/28 needs to be the total package, with cosmic harmony in the way all of it's parts work together. That really is the key attribute of the Boss Mustang, and that is the magic that GM needs to put it's finger on with a Z/28.
I like majic.

Pete,
After having built up a pretty awesome Camaro you are now given the opportunity to design the Z28 for GM what would you do given the parts bin to raid?

Oh and Number 3 please feel free to jump in.

Let me give this some serious thought. It might take a day or two, cool?

Designing THE Z28 does that to a person.
