Not sure if this will get pushed to the vendor section, but figured I would pass it on to you guys since a lot of you are in the Tampa area...

Just got finished with my L99 tune through Tampa Tuning...

Now I can't speak for the LS3 guys, but anyone with an L99 this is a must.. and Phil does a great job. Any LS3 owners will see an immediate performance bump, but to eliminate the AFM/DOD is essential.

I traveled to Tampa from Orlando for the initial tune and it was completely worth it. Not only the perk of removing AFM, but the car finally has the responsiveness it should have had from the factory.

Tampa tuning utilizes a street tune, which was fantastic. I preferred this method because it give you an individual run specific to your vehicle focusing on both low and high end applications.... and more than half the price of a dyno tune.

I believe Tampa tuning even offers a cheaper package if you only want AFM removed. However, if you are going to go, go big ....it is worth it.

A week later, Phil had a business meeting in Orlando and went out of his way to meet up and confirm the tune was satisfactory.

I couldn't agree with you more- Phil knows his stuff! My L99 just got an FTI 2800 stall and was in dire need of a tune. Phil was able to tune out all of the bad stuff a stall leaves you with and improve on all of the good things. My car has never run better. And to top it off, he's a humble guy! His prices are very reasonable and come without all of the attitude some tuners have. I'd recommend him to almost anyone.

Phil is great and for what he charges we use him for many of ours since our shop time is worth more than he

charges. Highly reccomend him.

the auto tranny tune is an absolute must and the power tune is icing on the cake.

We finally got my beast dialed in and Phil did a great job. We will be back at it in a few weeks when I get my stall converter done.

Only down side to this is I am now curious what this car would do with Texas-Speed's VVT cam and a suspension package.... the mod sickness doesn't appear to be stopping as I thought it would after LTs.

There's no BSing a client when they sit right next to you and your working on their car. I do a ton of fine tuning which takes a couple hours.

The A6s are a PITA to get right, but when they are right, they are fun to drive.

I tuned a 2011 Gen5 6 speed manual yesterday and it was like a little gift from heaven to work on

Like tracy said, The mod bug is addicting.

If you dont go over the top with your package, you'll love the car forever.

...........and a reminder for the weekend to thank to the men and women that keep us free so we can have the fun we do
