Ford guy can't wait for 2010 Camaro

OK, first I'm not trolling for a fight here, I am a Ford guy that is checking out the competition, man I can't wait for the Camaros to hit the roads. You guys will have nice car when they do hit. Reason I can't wait is when there is a Camaro on the road and it gets faster Ford has no choice but to make the Mustang faster, win win for us all. I really like this car, the Challengers have nothing for me to play with as the Challengers are not that fast, we are going to beat them up pretty bad on the street.

Here is a couple of my little V8, a 2008 Roush 428R, so when you guys see me drag your feet so I can keep up

Nice setup you got, but lets get one thing for sure, the challenger is going to smoke ford

Now you really don't want to add the Camaro into the equation

I don't know???? at 3570 lbs and 475 hp, I have ripped the bumpers off of two SRT8's so far. This thing is not a drag racer, it is set up as a track day car for the road courses.

That's one badass 'Stang you got there, dude. Welcome to the forum. Definitely a nice place to sorta scope out enemy territory and report back to your base, if you catch my drift.

I agree with you almost 100%. All accept that oversized spoiler comment .
Some of those "oversized spoilers" are actually funtional. When you are moving at a high rate of speed it is nice to have something pushing down on the car to keep you from going airborne. I do agree with you that alot are oversized, not funtional, just for show, but (not naming anything) some do actually perform! Just a thought. Glad to see you are a muscle car fan, and a bigger Camaro fan, NOTHING nothing wrong with that.

Thanks guys for not lighting me on fire, if they stop making Fords I'll buy a bicycle but..... trust me when I say this, I'm not kidding!!!! the new Camaro is going to be one Bad A$$ American muscle car, nice motor, nice body, nice interior, Chevy did this right.

JMAN311,
A fully loaded 428R went for $52K and they were built in 08 only, this one has the upgraded chassis over the Stage 3, billet suspension parts every where and I'm still finding bars under the car, it is "only" 475 hp, about the max you can get out of a Roush and keep the warranty, the day I bought it my wife agreed to let me buy it, but "ONLY" if I did not void the warranty with in weeks like I did on my Saleen and Kenny Brown SC T-bird, joke is on her as I have a Anderson Power pipe, bundle of snake headers and a smaller pulley in the garage and a GT500 fuel pump on the way, I'll go a while longer but there is hp still under that hood and I plan on getting every last one of them, as I'm sure you guys know how that. I really hope to find a Challenger and Camaro here in Albq in red and white so I can get a nice shot of Red, White and Blue cars from the Big three before it is two late.
