Well need some input...my Camaro was pulled on Friday and come this week will change event codes and no changes can be made.

Now, I am pretty sure I've read on here that if I make changes by Tuesday, all is good (since allocation opened on Thursday and closed on Saturday)...is this true?

My question...go with black rally stripes and dealer install, which is what I have right now. Thought black rallys and the black leather would look best together...

Or...change to cyber gray and let the factory install? I think the combo would still look good with the black leather but think I want black more?

What do you think? Which will look best with SIM and black leather interior?

I think Cyber Gray stripes would look better with the Silver. I like the less contrast. I think I am getting black Rally stripes on my Cyber Gray Metallic. White or some other color would be too much contrast.

Black stripes are installed at the factory now.
That changed about two weeks ago.

PLEASE stop giving out BAD info, that is NOT true. They do plan on doing more color stripes at the factory, but right NOW its CGM and White only from the factory.

Sorry for you, but this is completely true.
I had to remove my stripes altogether because they were going to install the BLACK stripes at the factory.

I had ordered them initially but decided to paint instead.
The dealer left them on the order and was going to just keep them, however, after the change, we were forced to remove the option of they woukd have been installed.

I will post the confirmation shortly.

I'm torn also between CGM and Black rally stripes. HOWEVER I will NOT let a dealer install my stripes for obvious reasons SOOOOOOOOOO, CGM it is...

IF they do Black before my car is built then I have decision to make, but right now its real EASY, CGM!!!

GM posted on the launch site and I believe it was RPO Z28 that released it on this site.

Anyway, here is what happened for me.

We 86ed the stripes, nothing else. Now to just wait.

The info was posted on "The mother of all thread about stripe packages".

Some are, still not sure how confirmed this is, but I know when my dealer asked their regional rep, they were told yes which I was I had them removed.

If I posted bum scoop, sorry.
Just like any other info on this site, there is always two sides.

Well...Monday morning and after sleeping on it, I'm going to have stick with my black stripes! I've changed my mind so many times with this Camaro and in the end I've always came back to my original plans! Just meant to be I think!

Thanks to all who had some input but the contrast between the SIM and black, paired with the black leather, just don't think I can beat that!

Again, thanks and I can't wait to see it!

Why not just get them painted and make it look like the concept?? I think the stripe package GM is offering is too close together and too short in comparison. I have nothing against vinyl and I'm pretty sure someone will be able to do the stripes in vinyl like the concept as well...

Black is the way to go, good choice. Although I really dont see why anyone is stressin about the stripe color. If you dont like it, peel it off and go buy a different color.

I’ve gone through this too. Finally decided on CGM with silver rally stripes. The interior was tough too. Black looks sharp but went with gray leather. It seemed dark enough without making the cockpit too much like a cave. Without actual color swatches it was hard to see how dark the gray is. I hope it’s not too light. I’m crossing my fingers on this one.

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to these forums and haven't read all the threads.

There are just so many to go through though.

I see GM is offering quarter flares and wonder if anyone is going to be putting these on their cars. Does anyone know if they will work with the ground effects package?

I'm all about preventing rock chips if at all humanly possible...but quarter flares?

I'm getting 2LT/RS black on black with ground effects. With any luck, I will have it soon.
