Pfadt sway bars

Installing front and back pfadt sport swaybars this weekend. Do I need to install endlink reinforcement brackets for these bars? Any truth to endlink mount failures. I've seen Pfadt brackets online but I can't get them for obvious reasons. Any recommendations of good quality brackets without breaking the bank?

Depending on how you drive, you might need them. Pull the arms off and find a welder to fab up some plates and weld them in.

Oh yeah, there is plenty of truth to it. See below. We have the Pfadt reinforcement brackets as well as BMR. Just give us a call.

The brackets are cheap insurance. I think I paid $30 for them and I went with Sport bars as well.

Are the sport sways compatible with a 2013 SS? I thought the sports were only for the FE3 (Pre-2012 SS's) suspensions and the 2013 have the wider FE4 mounts.

Yeah, the LCA's still have the provisions for the older style endlinks. Not sure why anyone would go back to the old style on a newer car though.

I missed the "sport" part of that and was wondering why everyone was talking about the FE3 suspension failures. I wouldn't go back to the FE3 style bars, if it was mine.

They are good bars. I have them on my car simply because I have a 2010 SS and didn't have the $ to upgrade LCAs. They improved the handling quite a bit and ride great. I have no plans to get rid of mine. However, if I get into some serious racing and don't use Bee as a daily driver as much, that may change.

Nope, not necessary with the FE4 style bars.
