no fb for me :(

Hey camaro hoosiers, just picked up my '10 1SS with 2900 miles.. It'd be awesome if someone could keep me up to date with semi-local meet ups! I'm located in Kokomo but definitely willing to drive. Thanks

I live an hour north west of you and I'm thinking of joining as well. It will give me another reason to drive my car and meet more camaro owners.

we post a lot in this location and also the IndyNexGen website. Usually, everything will be right here, as we start a new thread about upcoming big shows.

Welcome to the group! post up some pics if you get a chance, would love to see what it looks like.

We have 2 clubs here in Indy. The Central Indiana Camaro Club (CICC). This group has ALL generations of camaros and been around for a long time, great group of car enthusiast. And the newest club we are moving along with IndyNexGen, (mainly 5th gen and future 6th gen). Younger group, also a very fun group that loves to get together and do many shows/cruises/etc together.

Sounds good. If there is anything going on around Kokomo let me know.
I live in a tiny town with no action at all.
Have you ever been to renselear cruise night? It used to be really big, I went last year for the first time in about 10 years. The weather wasn't very good, it rained until about 5pm then cleared and it was still a pretty good turn out. Its the first Sat after the 4th of July.

keep an eye out here. Nothing has been announced, but there is usually some stuff going on around and up to the Indy 500.

Mike Norris motorsports in Indy is as good as it gets for tuning and he is close.
He actually moved to plainfield with raymonds performance I think.
407 616 2518 should get you hooked up

Thanks I've heard of him actually, good stuff. Off topic question but I saw some people online awhile back talking about dealer tunes that because a dealer performed them, they eould not void the warranty. Anyone know of some chevy dealers with that available?

Thanks again

My dealer still warrants all they can, if I went just bolt ons they would have covered it completely. They even told me if I went supercharger they would still cover my car other than the charger obviously. When I went cam they said they will cover most everything still. I just had an oil leak fixed no questions asked. Gm has the final say on warranty I think so its kind of a grey area. I would just talk to your local dealers and not try to hide anything and just see what they say.

not around here. Are you installing Long Tubes, or just Hiflow cats? I wouldn't worry about tuning until you make the step the LT's.

I would be interested in LTs but I'm just considering the cats. There's no big hp gains on mild tunes w/o the LTs etc..?

nope. LT's would require a good Tune to get the most out of the engine, w/o throwing codes. No tune would be required (nor any benefit) by just replacing the cats. Before I moved to LTs, I had some Solo HiFlo cats and loved them.
