Thanks for the great install write up. Installed this afternoon in 20 minutes including taking my time with the lighter plug removal. Managed to not break any tabs.

Just installed mine. 30 minutes. Would have been quicker if I didn't have to find the zip ties that came with the GM kit. Been floating around the shelves in my garage for monthes waiting for me to do the install. Now to call the dealership to cancel the appt. I made to install the gauge pack. Thanks for the info and pointers; gave me the courage to tear into the project myself.

Several GM dealer ships told me all summer long that you can't buy or install them for 2012 but I believe now it was only because none knew how in my area. So yeah most likely they are the same for 2013.

I just installed mine. One thing I'd like to note is when I transferred the traction control button over I had lost the little rubber part that fits over the TC circuit board. It must have flown out when taking it out of the old console. That part is crucial to the button working apparently and it took me forever to find it and get it to work.

I was just about to install it, and I realized I bought the wrong harness.... Anyone knows the part number for the harness adaptor? I want to ask my local dealer if they have it in stock. Thanks

Does anyone have any clues as to why the cluster won't work? I don't have much time to take apart the console to make sure the connection is good but it looks like that is the route I'm gonna have to go.

Sorry I should have given more details. As far as I know it was factory installed . Previous owner was a lady with a little girl (found Barbie shoes under the seats on my first detail). Cluster never worked from day one.

You might want to check the connections, it literally takes like 45 seconds to pop the gauges out, maybe something got disconnected, or it wasn't factory installed and they never installed the adaptor harness.
