I have just finished installing an E-Force and a ZR-1 Cam and its GOOD!!!.

The Edelbrock canned tune was NOT working acceptably. The drivabillity was poor, it had no big power, and the gas mileage was real bad. I ran that for 35-40 miles then sent Ted at Jannetty Racing an email. He sent me a custom tune and it now runs as it should. We are very happy with it and I can put the tool box away for now....

Very cool! A stupid question, does the radiator have to come out to remove/install the cam while still in the engine bay?

Yes but that is not a big deal at all. The fans unplug then come off as an assembly. Then the rad lifts out after the tranny lines are off and the hoses are off. The A/C condenser lines can be left connected and then just lift the condenser up carefully and set it out of the way (protected) while you pull the cam and replace it. The cam swap DIY thread is a HUGE help here. VERY comprehensive.

I just followed the cam swap instructions untill it was time to switch over to the E-Force instructions and back as required. The stuff I did not need I skipped. It was done over a period of 4 days when I had the time.

After installing my E-Force it ran OK except for the check engine light. I took it easy for a few weeks until I could get it dyno tuned by Jeremy Formato. It was running very lean. It is awesome now. No cam, just exhaust and CAI. 546/rwhp and 522/rwtq.

Nice work! I'm jealous about the cam!

We wrapped up our e-Force install last week on a nearly stock LS3, just an MBRP catback. It runs great! Edelbrock did seem to overlook some basic packaging issues and hose routing, but overall it went smoothly.

The wheel hop is gone now, it just blows the tires off in first and leaves rubber deposits all over the place!

I had 3 dyno pulls on a 100+ degree day. The tune was fat with the air fuel ratios on the 10's on light accelleration. Stoichiometric at cruise but fat everywhere else. I went home and loaded a leaner tune for 11.5 air fuel ratio and she now runs MUCH better. The cruise is still at 14.7 so that was left alone. I need to get it back to the dyno some day to see what HP I have now but the driveabillity is like stock and the 400 plus Ft-Lbs of torque at any RPM when ever you want it is VERY nice.

Time to add more pump and pulley down!
