To offset or or not?

So I talked to one of our fellow forum members and he made a very good point about not offsetting after market rims due to not being able to rotate tires, which in turn increases cost. What is everyone's opinion? As well I have a 2011 SS/RS just purchased the PFADT lowering springs, if i not offset should I go with 22x8.5 or the 22x9.5? Thanks guys!

it depends on what size tire you intend to use......I can only assume you want new/different wheels.....if you liek the STOCK wheels.....get another set of REARS and run the stock rears (20 x 9) all the way around....their are plenty of guys running that combo....even lowered.

Also you need to consider if you will actually rotate your tires. Of all my 20+ years of driving I have rotated my tires ONCE. So for me, its a no brainer.
