or plug it...i had to do that - but now its off balance...then i got a slow leak in the other one...need to air it every night...new wheels will be here tomorrow...which is good because i am NOT enjoying driving my car right now.

You could probably do this but it would be a whole lot cheaper to just fix or get a used replacement meanwhile. By the time you mount and balance these tires twice you'll be spending over $120 or so. Like sux2bu said, just get a used one if it cant be fixed.
