Foam fun question

Does using a foam gun eliminate bucket washing for the most part? If so which do you prefer?

The foam gun makes bucket washing easier on your paint since it loosens up the dirt before you start the actual wash. There is no substitue for a two bucket wash, but the foam gun is a good step to add between the rinse and the wash.

No, you will still need to bucket wash with the 2x2 or 2x4 method. The foam gun helps loosen up and soften contaminates before you through you mitt on the car helping to prevent any added imperfections. It also helps with getting soap into those hard to reach areas like the wheel well.

No!! You still need buckets and grit guards to wash appropriately... the foam gun is simply a way to deliver lots of soap to the paint easily, but it does not replace your buckets/grit guards.
