Anyone replaced tires yet?

How many miles and how much did it set ya back.
I was at a tire shop yesterday and the guy gasped when he pulled up the price to replace a 20" 275 P-Zero runflat.

I'm a long way from replacing tires, but imagine $400 to $500 per tire on the 21" wheels. Yikes.

I guess it depends whether you get tires online or locally.

and this is why it pays to see what tires cost BEFORE you burn them up.

Geez, where are you shopping? Discount Tire is $246 each and Tire Rack is $234 each for the PZero's in 275/40/20's. The Camaro doesn't come with run-flats, by the way.

I replaced mine at 25k... went with Hankook because my car is a daily driver and I needed a performance tire that would last longer than 20k miles.... the set was about 560 if memory serves and I am surprised that these Hankooks are actually decent tires... they are quieter than the Pirelli's..... I think the next time I will go with B F Goodrich or Vrdestein....

I am due for mine. Dealer quote me 300 for the front 390 for the back with labor and alignment 1495 for the Pirelli's. I have 25,000 miles on mine.

Ask him to pull up the Price for the Stock Tire......The Stock Tires aren't Run Flat tires, which cost more.

Bought a set last fall off a guy on this forum for $550. Just changed with 28k on the OEM, could have gone an extra 2 or so.

Had a nail in my left rear, paid $182 to replace and $20 for a radial patch in the original tire along with swapping wheels... I forget how much the TPMS sensor was.

With 15k on the car, I'll likely change 'em around 30k. By then I'll want new wheels... Need suggestions on Tire Sizes for the following specs:

Wheel specs
Front: 20” x 9” et 32mm
Rear: 20” x 11” et 40mm

daily driver, so I shed the Pirelli's after about 7K on them. I bought 4 Yokohama Parada Spec X last November, so I've put about 7K on them. I spent about $650 at TireRack. (Yeah, I know tires have gone up in price... )

I purchased wheels 20 x 9 and 20 x 11 and was told to order the following tire sizes (via Tire Rack).

255 45 20 Front
315 35 20 Rears

I haven't bought them yet, but need to do so pretty quick. This sound right to all you gear heads out there?

A 245/45/20 would be better IMO. The 255/45 will be slightly taller than the 315/35 whereas the 245/45 will be the same height as the 315/35.

245/45/20 overall height is 28.68"
255/45/20 overall height is 29.02"
315/35/20 overall height is 28.68"

Unless GM changed something, I have not seen a single 2010 or 2011 Camaro with the 20" wheels wearing run-flat versions of the Pirelli P-Zero tires. You might want to double check your tires before you find out they really aren't run-flat tires.

I got two flats, one day after another, front and back. Ran me $650 after everything including coverage for my other two tires at Discount Tire Store.
