Speaking of tires

I'm moving back to Indiana in a month. The winters are tough up there and unfornately my camaro will have to be driven in the snow and ice I know the tires it has on it now are a joke in that kind of weather. What does everyone recommend? I will probably switch back to the stock tires during the spring/summer months so nothing real expensive.

I have continental extremecontact dws's on our G8GT..... they are a great all around tire. I have no complaints about them at all actually!

The stock tires that come on the LS are BF Goodrich Radial TA Specs in a 245/55/R18. I commuted them from Valparaiso to South Bend for two straight winters. They were pretty decent in the winter. The stock rim is 8-inches wide and so are my aftermarket rims. Tire Rack had these for about $80 each for a while. Don't know about current pricing.

Blizzaks are awesome in the snow. Do all four corners.

Agreed....Tirerack.com had a great deal on a package of Blizzaks mounted on 17" wheels, balanced and shipped. The car plowed through everything with no issues all winter.
